When did you start working with Unland?
I joined Unland in 2006, embracing the change to work with people who needed someone to care and guide them through getting the right products and coverage they need.
What is your overall experience in the insurance industry?
I have over 14 years’ experience in insurance and am working towards my Certified Insurance Counselor certificate.
Tell us about your family.
I have three children: one who works for OSF and serves his country in the Army Reserves, one who is a junior in college studying to be in the medical field and has achieved the Dean’s list with a perfect GPA to date, and one who is a senior in High school graduating mid-term to get an early start on college. My parents live in Pekin and are both retired.
How do you like to spend your free time?
I like to spend my free time with my family and friends. I enjoy working in the yard and in my small garden, and my hobbies are golfing, working out, and bike riding. I also enjoy shooting baskets in the driveway with the kids in the neighborhood.
In what ways do you give back to your community?
I give back to the community through my membership in Kiwanis and serving on the board as President, serving as a CASA Volunteer, and delivering holiday meals in our community. I am also an ambassador for the East Peoria Chamber of Commerce.
