When did you start working with Unland?
I joined Unland in 2004 and love to help people achieve their financial goals as well as educate them on how to plan for things that directly affect their lives.
What is your overall experience in the insurance industry?
I have over 20 years’ experience as a Financial Adviser. I hold Series 6, 63, 65, and 7 licenses, the CPFA designation (Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor), and a Certified Wealth Strategist (CWS).
Tell us about your family.
I am married to Monica who is a teacher and currently works for Pekin District 108 in a grade school learning center. We have three children – Isaac, a meteorologist currently in grad school at Texas Tech University; Paige, a special education major and cross country and track distance runner at Illinois State University; and Sarah who is a student at Pekin Community High School and participates in band and swimming.
How do you like to spend your free time?
I spend most of my free time with my family – following our kids in their activities. We love family cookouts, movie nights and hiking at different parks. I also root for the Cubs and develop Bible studies for a class I teach.
In what ways do you give back to your community?
We are active members of our church, and we support several missionaries through CRU. We have been active in supporting Pekin band and athletics as well as PJXC (Pekin Junior Cross Country).
